I acted as internal design consultant and strategic partner to a Seattle startup acquired by WebMD Health Services. I built cross-team trust, and together we designed one of the earliest chat-based digital coaching experiences in the health space.
The research-led redesign that made WebMD's health assessment work for seniors, which I led. It reduced cognitive load, embedded behavioral science, and achieved CMS compliance. It also proved the experience model that later became the standard for all WebMD health assessments.
A tech migration gave us three weeks and no budget. Here's what shipped anyway, and the roadmap that made sure nothing was wasted.
This ground-up redesign became WebMD Health Services' standard for every health assessment, print and digital. One core assessment, adapted across segments, with faster, smarter funneling into wellness programs.
We needed a basic branding and client configuration tool for wellness portal administrators so that new clients could launch the portal quickly and independently. I led the design and product management to deliver it.
Alexa needed Skills faster than Amazon could build them. I proposed Alexa Academy, a course and certification platform that would turn developers into a content pipeline.
